Sounds fishy: Omega-3 supplements not associated with lower cardiovascular risk


Patients at increased cardiovascular risk who took omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) at an average dose of 1.5 g daily for at least 2 years did not have a lower risk of all-cause mortality, cardiac death, sudden death, myocardial infarction, or stroke.
