Nocturnal asthma: Not a good night

KEY POINT

As many as 75% of patients with nocturnal asthma are awakened at least one time each week by symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, and dyspnea, and 40% of patients experience nocturnal symptoms at least one time per night, notes a review article published recently in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
