Antibiotics named as leading cause of fatal anaphylaxis in United States

KEY POINT

An analysis of approximately 2,500 anaphylaxis-related deaths in the United States revealed that medications caused approximately 60% of these cases, with antibiotics being the most common class of drugs when the culprit medication was identified.
