Pregabalin not effective for acute sciatica

KEY POINT

Use of pregabalin (Lyrica—Pfizer) in patients with moderate to severe acute sciatica was no better than placebo at improving leg pain intensity, according to results of the PRECISE study published in the New England Journal of Medicine.
