Topical Beta-Blockers for Glaucoma: Airway Obstruction, Pulmonary Problems Possible

Used for treating glaucoma or ocular hypertension, topical beta-blockers can produce airway obstructions in patients not viewed as being at high risk for pulmonary problems.
